Service Times

We offer a variety of worship styles and a wide range of activities, catering for people of differing backgrounds and ages.

Like many churches, our worship pattern varies from week to week. Most of our worship is in the modern idiom, often including children and young people, but we still retain the Book of Common Prayer for our midweek communion service and for our twice-monthly evensong.

We offer a warm welcome to everyone, whether they come to church occasionally, regularly, or are newcomers. As part of our welcome we offer refreshments and fellowship in church at the close of our main Sunday Morning services.

As part of our plan for future growth, some of our services throughout the year will be held jointly between our three Team churches. Normally these will occur where there is a fifth Sunday in the month and each church will take it in turn to host.

At present our standard month looks like this:

1st Sunday   10.15am   Holy Communion:  our young people join us for the first part of the service before departing for Sunday Clubs or Pathfinders
  6.30pm   Evensong
2nd Sunday

  10.15am   Parade service
  6.30pm   Holy Communion
3rd Sunday   10.15 am   Baptism or Morning Prayer: once again with our young people joining us for the first part of the service
  6.30pm   Evensong
4th Sunday   10.15am   All-age Communion Service
  6.30pm   Contemporary Worship
5th Sunday   10.15am   Team Service
  6.30pm   Evensong
Wednesdays   11.00 am   Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

We welcome children to all our services. There is a creche for younger children at the back of the church and for very young children we also have activity bags, which can be found at the rear of the pews, by the bookstall.
