Special Appeals

The Tower Project is complete !!!!
At last the scaffolding is all down and our beautiful tower can be seen in all its glory. This was one of the largest appeals we have had to make - over £200,000.
This is a breakdown of how the work was funded:
- £91,000 Grant from English Heritage
- £20,000 Grant from National Churches Trust
- £48,500 from your donations and your fund-raising
- £16,000 in legacies
We have yet to find out how much of the VAT we paid will be refunded under the Government's Listed Places of Worship Scheme but we are hopeful that we will have a surplus towards our next capital project once all the monies are in and counted
Our next needs!
The work at All Hallows is never finished and those of you reading this who regularly attend our services will know that our sound system is on its last legs.
We do not have an official appeal at present but Lew Eccleshall is busy collecting all the information we need to understand how much it would cost not only to replace the sound system but to install a full twenty-first-century audio-visual system.
We will keep you updated!
