These are the values by which we try to operate in church and throughout our lives.
We often remind each other that ‘church’ is not the place we go – it is the people we are and, because of Jesus, we are spiritually related to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We are seeking to build community in each of our churches, remembering that hundreds of years ago it was through monastic communities (monasteries) that our country was evangelised. We therefore describe ourselves as ‘communities of blessing’: people who are blessed by God, who seek to bless one another, and together bless our world.
