Sunday Clubs

Whoever accepts a child in my name accepts me Matthew 18:5

Welcome to our Sunday Club page. Here at Sunday Club we value each child and look forward to getting to know them well.

All Hallows is a Child Friendly Church, having received this award from the Diocese of Liverpool. Our aim is to provide the best, so that children can enjoy their time with us.

Our Sunday Club meets on the first and third Sundays of each month in the All Hallows Centre halls, after spending the first 15 minutes in the 10.15 service.

Sunday Club is divided into three separate age groups:

Scramblers: Children join Scramblers from the age of three and leave at the end of reception year in primary school.

Climbers: Children attending Climbers are in years 1 and 2 of primary school.

Explorers: Children move on to the Explorer Group when they begin junior school, and stay until the end of Year 6, when they move on to secondary school and to our Youth Pathfinder Group.

The children enjoy learning about the Bible through participating in their sessions. Games, drama, storytelling, songs, art and crafts are all media that are used in each session.

All our leaders have been CRB checked (Criminal Records Bureau) and hold the appropriate certificate. Each leader attends regular Child Protection training sessions.

The Children's Ministry Co-ordinator is Ian Merrion and our Safeguarding Officer is an Hobbs. Ian and Jean can be contacted using the links at the right-hand side of this page.

We also have a Tumblers' Creche in the Children's Chapel at the back of church. All parents with babies and children up to the age of three are most welcome to use these facilities throughout the Sunday Service time.

We Support two children with the money we collect from our children's collection on a Sunday. One is called Maria, who lives in Columbia and the other is Pavan, who lives in India. We do this through a Christian charity called Compassion. We send about £50 each month and something extra at Christmas.
