What is lent              Ideas for lent

We are planning to open our church once again from the start of Holy Week. More details available soon.

Lent and Easter are an important part of the Christian calendar

Lent is a time when we reflect and prepare for the celebration of Easter. Jesus fasted for forty days in the wilderness and we can follow his example by eating more frugally or giving up treats. Some people prefer to give to charity. It is when we can set aside time to study the bible and meet with others to reflect on Jesus’ life.

Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord – the King of Israel’.                                                                                             John 12:12-13.
